The most famous pirate flag is the Jolly Roger, but many pirates flew their own flag. Red Legs flag is not recorded, but here are a few of the more famous ones.

Stede Bonnet, the Genteman Pirate, flew this flag. The meaning of the symbols was unclear. He was known to be a bit crazy and Blackbeard took over this ship.

Thomas Tew, the Rhode Island Pirate, flew gentleman’s flag. Captain Charles Johnson, who wrote a history of pirates, said “Tew, in Point of Gallantry, was inferior to none.”
